Luxury and sustainability combine at QO Amsterdam.
QO Amsterdam has opened its doors in the dynamic Amstelkwartier, the ‘new city district’ in the Dutch capital. Every aspect of the hotel is designed to reduce environmental impact and to create the best possible guest experience, for international and local guests alike, from the rooftop greenhouse to the intelligent façade and energy-saving features in its construction.
"We want the QO to stand out from other lifestyle destinations. Guests should not have to opt for either luxury or sustainability; we want to show that the two can be perfectly combined. We hope to be a breath of fresh air in the hospitality industry, paving the way for how hotels of the future are built and run" says Inge van Weert, General Manager, Hotel at the QO.
The 21-floor hotel is a unique ‘living building’. Each of the 288 bedrooms has been designed to provide the best possible environment that optimises the guests’ rest and relaxation.
QO Amsterdam does more than cater to international travellers – it is embedded in the local community. Persijn, with its innovative Dutch cuisine, will welcome guests on the ground floor. Juniper & Kin, kitchen garden & bar on the 21st floor, will offer a stunning panoramic view of Amsterdam where guests will be able to enjoy tasteful cocktails with a selection of small dishes.
Positioned alongside the Amstel River, Amstelkwartier is an authentic piece of Amsterdam. An area steeped in history and heritage – once the original gateway to the city – it has been sidelined for years. Now, as it embraces fresh thinking and the future of the city, the QO will be at its heart, leading the transformation.
Amstelkwartier is the perfect hybrid of country and city with an influx of engaging initiatives, making it the next big neighbourhood in Amsterdam East.
Ziggo Dome and AFAS Live are two of the city’s best venues for live music, and both are on the doorstep.
You will reach the City Center by tram in 10-15 minutes.
